1 Week down, 3 to go!

Well 1 week down of my whole30 adventure and I've NEVER felt better! Sleeping soundly, waking up refreshed, have so much more energy and much more stable mood(everyone in winning from this!)

Having so much fun cooking all my new meals and the only challenge I've found is which meal to cook!!! so many delish things to choose from!

Clothes falling off (picture attached of saggy work pants) due to combination of crossfit, 8km walk daily and whole30

My favourite meal to date was last nights meal and as a result tonight's meal; morrocan spiced salmon, rosemary sweet potato and cauliflower mash with steamed kale and spinach salad! Just delish!!!

Looking forward to week two, although wil def need to find a substitute for eggs, I'm quickly getting over them!

Weird thing is NOT missing carbs or dairy at all - weird! Although have the strangest craving for natural confectionary sour worm lollies? very random!

Definitely recommend this meal plan to anyone considering a change!!

Here goes nothing - well hopefully unwanted Kgs ;)

Well after a hard crossfit session tonight, I made a beeline for the local woolies for my whole30 supplies dispite being extremely sweaty (picture sweaty man v on my neck line) slightly smelly (thank god i could drown myself in perfume) and struggling with jelly legs.

Equipped with my meal plan I was on a fresh food rampage. My shopping trolley has never looked better and yes I had a little spring in my step when walking past other people's not so healthy trolleys. Got almost everything I needed - who would have thought I'd be so distraught upon learning Brussel sprouts are not in season - I never thought it would be a concern I would have!!

So here I am about to begin my whole30 journey and really looking forward to it! Will miss my morning oats, but I guess the next 30 days is where my stubbornness will pay off

Here we go.....

best place to start...the beginning

So, after much deliberation I've decided to take a massive leap and do the whole30 challenge! Eeeeep.

Currently feeling a gamut of emotions...curious - what's all the fuss about, nervous - what if I fail, excited - what if it works, and hesitant - I hope it's worth the $, scared - will I be able to do this!

But not being one to shy away from a challenge I will push on, and hopefully associate some different more positive emotions with this challenge! I mean really how hard can 30 days be....right???

Watch this space I guess.....gulp!
